Yes the open air is the same deal here, although they are slightly easier to come by. Is there a big VW scene in Sweden

What?!
Here back in the late 90es VAG Sweden (Volkswagen Audi Group) did have a really nice price for the Polo 1,4 16v (GTI here) with Open Air and Colour Concept. I was reading there comercial when I was a child, but cant remember what the information or the price were.
You can get one here in god condition for about 35-45 000 SEK (wich is about 3-3500 GBD).
There are a lot of Vw-people here, the most recent car here is Golf Mk2 and the old Vw Beetle.

Wow its fantastic to see a yellow 6n, especially a colour concept as we don't get them over here!
I didn't realise they had the washers at the front, does it have HIDS/xenon headlights?

All the cars that was sold as new here in Sweden have those washers. I´m gonna remove those now in winter.
Are the Colour Concept hard to find in the UK?

My 16v front bumper that i got from the scrappy had those washer things, i thought that was normal?i took them off, they looked awful, but they look ok on this one.

The best thing with the Colour Concept are the Recaro letherseats.
I´ve drived 2000 km with my car since the beginning of June and the seats are amazing!

You can find a complete interior from a Colour Concept for about 3-4000 SEK here in Sweden (300 GBD) in mint condition.
Maybe something to add to your car, soon it will be Christmas...
