0-60= 9.15
0-80= 14.53
0-100= 23.62
0-110= 30.52

i wasnt being illegal by the way the national speed limit here in the isle of man is as fast u like

That 0-60 time is pretty respectable :D

At a recent rolling road day I got

107BHP at the flywheel
83BHP at the wheels

That was at 6012 RPM

Car is standard except for K&N panel filter

have u got a graph of the bhp and torque? id be very interested in seeing one of the 16v. 107 is amazing i wonder why vw put it down as 100. it seems from reading on here and on porka that the power figure is almost always more than wots claimed. i'll have to get mine done at some point, i hope mines above 100. id be gutted if its under!

any decent manufactuer will always under quote, its stops them getting sued

my subs are rated at 900w RMS but are actually nearer to 1100w RMS

Robin on porka got 121 BHP ! and he only has a Janspeed exhaust. I'm sure he would post his graph up.

correct!

I don't want to commit to modding it quite yet - I may have to sell if I move house... which may or may not happen but I will know in a month or so - it's so frustrating!

the chap who got over 120 bhp - tell me that wasn't standard?!

thats rough mate losing the valver, hope it doesnt happen. good luck with the move if it goes ahead, its crap having to set up home again. on the plus side u'll probably find something important u thought ud lost for ever as u clear all ur stuff out

just read josh's post about the shootout
http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... php?t=4036
somehow i dont reckon my times are acurate. there acurate to the clock in my car (which i can prove if anyone wants a 20mb plus video of it) but comparing to josh's times mine seem well to good to be true.
is this inaccurracies in the clock etc? his is obviously correct as it was done by GPS

Assume it's roughly 5% out to be conservative - but you're still in the mid 9's even with this (plus you had a passenger).

I would love to get some track times of a 16v 0-60...

id luv to go to that santa pod thing, never been before, theres bound to be some gorgeous exotica to oggle but unfortuently im stuck on a rock in the middle of the irish sea cut off from the real world. try and get some photos if u do go (vw's, audi's and porsche please!) and shove em up on here and get some proper recorded times so we can disregard the efforts of my obviously failing clock!
