Welcome to forum, depends what you class as cheap really.

Really cheap would be like spraying/vinyling your badges black.
You could also de-badge and strip it that'll cost you nothing and makes a diffrence.

Clear indicators also cost about £15 and make a diffrence too

one that dosent cost anything is removing the side bumpstrips.

and a few cheap bits could be clear side repeters and clear indicators.

and debadging the back

Won't have you have to pay for the back to be filled and resprayed after debadging though?

I'm going to be debadging mine this weekend, any top tips from the masters?

Warm water and a old credit card then some WD-40 to clean up.

Welcome to the Site Mikey. :D

Got an N-reg 1.3 myself, easiest mods are removing the 'polo' & '1.3' badges as described above, removing the side rub strips (only stock on the same). Then mods with a small cost are, change grille to a badgeless one, put clear/smoked front & side indicators on, replace rear lights with something like 16V or GLX version or with slight modification some off a mk5 (the red ones).

For mods that are more expensive, you could put angel eye headlights on, 16V bumpers, etc, etc.
