thinking of ordering my ats cups soon and i want to know if the extra 5mm makes that much difference,i know it equates to 10mm in radius but does it really help stop the scrubbing?i'm gonna put a set of coilovers on the polo and drop it a fair bit

The scrubbing i found a bastard on the 50's at full lock on the front wheels, plus they knock the speedo out, part from that 50's are great but 45's IMO look better.

Yup, go with 45's, even though I still scrub with them.

Id say go with 45s too mate! I recently put a set of 195/50/15s on the polo and now im looking to lower it but im thinkin its gonna scrub on a full lock etc. Im regrettin that i didnt go for the 45s!

the 195/50's I had didn't look so balloony which was a good factor. The speedo goes out a tad but once your upto speed you get better speed at the top end. Furthermore at the height I decked my car, it filled up the arch gap so tight I couldn't fit my twinky finger in the gap lol. So it has its good points.
Now I run 195/45 cos the 50's used to scrub like a b*itch against the inner arch once I hit bumps anywhere. It keeps the speedo accurate too. The only dow point is the top end speed and the fact can see inner arch now

195/45s all day mate. 195/50s should NEVER be considered for the polo, they're way too big and look poop. They're for mark2 golfs...
