Kit from maplins will do it. Its £25 or there abouts, and you can merge it with the alarm, which they also do.

It involves taking the doorcards off, fitting motors and solenoids, and installing a fair bit of wiring plus adding power etc. Its a good few hours of work, and definately acheivable. I did it in my old 5 door 1.0E in a day!

That is the kit yes

I fitted it to my 3 door, then followed by an alarm from ebay thankfully with the help of Alex

Cool. Yeh i'd also look at getting an alarm fitted once i have central locking. A friend of mine has a 6n2 and she has an alarm with remote locking now. Do you know of any guides that have been posted? I ask as i've never really done anything like this, so i'd like to get an idea of what to do. If it looks to hard i'd think about getting someone else help do it or get a garage to do it.

From my experience I would say its fairly difficult if you don't know what you are doing.. luckily I had help.. I would have been screwed otherwise

Dans right - I had a bash at it, and succeeded, but I know vehicle electronics quite well which made it a damn sight easier!
