I need to get some pics taken from the actual box. It looks as if it's just a board with cloth on it, but there's a sub underneath.

The cloth matches the rest of the boot much better IRL for some reason.

It suprises me every time i see the install - stealth is not the word.

your bumper looks blue there though, was that pic taken after the re-spray?

No it's still green - the pic was taken before the respray and the camera made it look blue somehow. That's why the cloth colours don't match as well as they do IRL. Crappy cam.

(A 400€ Fuji FinePix item, if anyone cares - ripoff.)

ive literally just had my back window smashed and my sub stolen today. so im now thinking ive gotta get something like that.......

how easy was it to do?

what subs you got in there?

do you still have your spare wheel in there?

does it affect the sound having it covered up?

Damn...

It's pretty easy to do. Took me a weekend, but I work slow.

Sound is not affected AFAIK.

There's a 12 inch sub underneath the perforated board, in a sealed 25l enclosure. No spare wheel, if worst comes to worst I have a can of tyre weld to mess with. *Crosses fingers*

cheers

A single 15" sub can set off car alarms at 100 yards. It should be fine.

(Given the right amp, and a quality sub)

lol

Installs can cost anything from £150 for a basic mdf install right up to £000s for a fibreglass show install.

Ive just fitted a sub in stealth style just like speedlaws 8) , difference is my sub was free of a mate and the amp free off another mate. as the sub was only 10" ive managed to get it in there with the spare aswell. just need to get a amp wiring kit now to see whether the pure cheapness of this install shows up when i play the tunes (very likely) also the felt in my car is real thick so i think i am more likely to get vibrations than sound out of this sub. its only 400w but its a good first experiment that i can play around with once ive done the more important things, like learn to drive!
