Hey just curious as to what replacement filter i need for my polo 1.9TDI 2006.
I went on both green and K&N but there is one thing i cant understand. The filters are pretty much identical except for their height.
My OEM one is 70mm high but the others are like not even half that???:

its just a different style of filter thats all, you get better flow through a performance filter, it still filters the same!

Ah cool , so even tho its thinner it covers what is needed. and does the same. Just got concerened as its like half the thickness of the one vw put in it.
I think i will get one next week ,anyone have preferences? are they pretty much the same?

got a green one myslef, some on this forum have got green and some have the k&n one, i think you can also get a bmc one, i think there all pretty much similar tho
