Has anyone had there's fail yet, mine's just gone, EPC light on dash, and no brake lights.
Just wondered if anyone knows how much they are ?

I'm not too sure about getting it to work okay again, I consider myself to be a bit of a DIYer - and not beyond opening up and "sorting" switches - but I also considered that VAG have modified this item quite a few times - so I just bought a new "upgraded" one when the one in my wife's Polo went u/s. Remember one thing, when these switches go u/s you end up with no brake lights and that could cause you more grief than just some flashing instrument panel lights. When I first experienced this, I was driving in town traffic at night - and I luckily quickly worked out what might have gone wrong (I had recently read about this problem), and then drove home with great caution making sure no one was going to have to stop very quickly behind me (if planning that is ever possible!) - probably trying to force any agressive drivers to overtake me! Next day it was straight to nearest VAG outlet to get a switch. On another note, one of these forums has a very detailed run down of what needs to be done to fit these switches correctly - I did not know that when I changed might - but it seemed to work out okay.

Yeah for the sake of £8, its worth getting a new one. I first called the AA out and he managed to fix it for a while, but it soon went again.

Well, it's working ok for now, gonna go and buy one just to have here anyway.
Got to work out the mystery that is the interior light now, haven't got a clue where to look next, electrics on this car have got a mind of their own.
