thought i would start up a W.I.P thread in here to show my progress of the new 6n

started off like this when i first bought it in august:

then i had to quit my job because i decided i want to start college doing body repair and spraying cars and lost out on getting some money to fund my plans , so i started saving what i could and now i have managed to start doing a bit of work that i can i sent my bumper off to be smoothed and nwo looks alot cleaner and looked like this :

and then i decided i wanted to take it off the road to do a few bits and bobs to it and so i dont end up smashing it up , gave it a last detail and left it safe and sound at me nans ...
3 days later i sold the ronal ls's and its now sitting on axle stands and looks like its in a right state lol, waiting to find a decent set of G60 steels to wack on there over winter untill christmas time when i can order up my new rims :D they have been done before but he has now sold them and so hopefully its going to be the only 6n with them on and they are going to look the titties , they will be 9 rear and 8.5 front either 14's or 15's aint totally made my mind up yet but i think im feeling 14's.

last week i ripped my old install out and started to make the te,plates and box for my new install and i also orderd some material for the retrim , the original plan was to go for all red leather but that went out the window the day i walked out of my job so guna stick with this crazy colour untill i get the money rolling back in .

i have been started to trim up a few bits but mainly been cracking on with the install heres some progress pic's of the install and few bits i have trimmed:

and this is where i am at atm , will be more updates tommorow when i trim the roof , rest of the pilars and maybe some things under the bonnet ... i will hopefully be adding the filler to the install tommorow aswell then that will be ready for trimming at the weekend

make sure you keep an eye out as i will be updating regually fingers crossed
hope ya like so far

na man pretty easy , just cut the shape you need with a bit of over hang and just look at it and think hard what is the best way to cover it

Haha, lol, best description ever! just look at it and think hard, but to be true, that is the correct way, same as i did with my pillars and roof lining 8)

Merc caps look the bomb! Roof trim looks very well executed, but not to thrilled by the colour-match (purple/black/lightgrey doorrubbers&handles) though. But still, very well executed work! Nice "thinking outside of the box" though on the colour

Yeh great work on the roof! May try something similar out with mine soon, Not digging the caps though.
