The one at the bottom of that page:
March 2005 onwards

Combined aerial and wiring adaptor

Restores power supply to booster circuit built into aerial's base, lost when factory-fitted radio is removed

For use with CAN-BUS multiplexed wiring systems, where connection to factory-fitted remote controls or GALA speed pulse is not required

This adaptor is required to replace a VW Polo factory fitted radio with a Blaupunkt aftermarket model. It converts the car's original power and speakers wiring connector to a standard ISO connector, as used on all our radios. Simply plug one end of the adaptor into your cars wiring harness, and the other end into your new radio; no cutting of wires is necessary.

alex, with that one, is it just plug and play, or will i still need to source other things like live and ground etc?

I think it is, but the best thing to do is call the guys at bluespot up and ask - they are really helpful :)

i got one like that and you have to source live, and illumination, but thats easy to get from the ciggy lighter !!! otherwise you will be paying £80-90 for an adaptor!

what that man said :)

The one on the bluespot page includes the antenna booster too, which is good... I had to buy mine seperate to the actual adaptor from my local ICE dealer

this is the best one at £90 but its a steep price to pay

or this one at £20 but just need to source live and illumination!
Image

to be honest id go for the £20 one as unless you need speed signal and remote control functions , the £90 one is pointless!

I bought the £90quid one initially thinking would be easier. It only works with Blaupunkt kit apparentely.... BEWARE!
That black box thing has 4 or 5 little switches on to set.... No good when the instructions may as well have been written in swahili.

£20 quid + 5mins to establish what's what with a meter is the way to go.

Factory aerials are ok. Its when you change them to like shark fins and similar you can have problems. I had no problem with my pioneer HU and my old factory aerial, but my shark fin needs a booster on the same aerial
