I hadn't properly tested my tail-lights as I assumed they were just plug and play but a mate driving behind me today noticed that they were all mixed up! I.e. one side brake lights up at top, other side at bottom.
Here are the lights:
Can someone label them for me so I know which bulb is supposed to be which as I'm totally clueless with these!
Would be amazing if you could just quote this and fill it in:
Left
Top LEDS:
Middle LEDS (on silver trim):
Amber bulb:
Chrome bulb:
Lower LEDS:
Right
Top LEDS:
Middle LEDS (on silver trim):
Amber bulb:
Chrome bulb:
Lower LEDS:
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Or even a guide to fitting them... I think both the top and bottom set of LEDs are supposed to be the brake lights but not sure how to get both to light up?

look like the same ones i have but mine arnt tinted... did u buy them new or of someone?
some did ask about the wiring on here and i gave them the wiring list of whcih wire should be to which wire.... dunno if it will help but will try to find it for u.....
but in answer to ur question,
top leds= brake lights
the rows around the bulbs are ur rear lights.
the bottom are ur fogs which u dont need both wired up.
amber is indicator
and chrome next to indicator is reverse again dont need both of these.

Ouch...
Sounds like a night mare!
Top 2 rows are the Brake.
Bottom 2 rows of L.e.ds are the FOG lights ( I only have the one on the right working?)
The middle elipse shape (red) with silver trim are the lights that light up when half beam or full beam are on.
Middle...
The yellow (indicator)
White ... Revers.
I don't have the time to check where the wires go to. But if your still stuck in a week... I will check for you and tell you or take a picture of where the wires go.

That's great guys, thanks. I should be able to do it in my lunch hour today, just need to swap the wires around until it's right!
I bought them new, Kipper:

found out with mine that none if the colour coding actually meant anything so had to go through every light switched on and see which ones electricity was passing. After which I connected the relevant light on the cluster I wanted with it.
On mine its as follows:
Top row: Brakes
Thin red rows: Rear headlight
Bottom row: Fog lights
White/Orange: obvious where they go!
had to put 2 wires across the bottom of the boot to light both sides of the reverse and fogs as factory units are single sided.

I'll probably do this at some point but for now I'll be happy to get the rest sorted so I don't look like a cock driving around with lop-sided brake lights

Ball bags... I got all the lights all in the right place and it's perfect on the passenger side but on the driver's side, the brake light, fog light and tail lights etc are all fine but when you put the indicator on, the brake lights etc flash alternately with the indicator.
I'm guessing this is something to do with earthing but I have no idea what to do!

Balls... I'll have a look at it tonight but if I can't work it out I'll have to take it into the garage near my work or something.

Definitely the car's earth wire, not the light as I tried it on the other side and worked fine. I tried to trace the wire but it goes up into the body and then back out and onto a screw into the metal but I don't want to f**k around cutting it and re-earthing in case I make it worse... Garage it is then!

Garage local to my work have rewired the light and fixed the rattling heat-sheild for just £35. I love them!
