well the wheels went off for re painting at the back end of last week and i got a call today to say they have been done and clear coated and i should go for a look to make sure i am happy with them

the finish is flawless and the colour is astonishing, both the insides of the wheel faces and rears of the spokes are done, (so everything really) and clear coated for ultimate resistance to brake dust, i.e. insides not left un laquered

im really over the moon with the results, ill go back for them tomorrow as they were a little too soft today for transporting about,

then once home ill let them bake in my room for a few weeks and go properly tough, and protect them with plenty of coats of wax, so fingers crossed they wont be damaged on re fitting the tyres

iv also ordered some brand new tyres for them, continental sport contact 3's in 205x40x17

and the car is in premier car trim, having the seat covers removed front and rear in the morning (tuesday), so the trim will be happening next week

road angel compact has been binned in favour of a road angel plus

the rear reg plate lights have been replaced with led's to give the new style bmw/lexus look, crisp and bright

the screen is now all fitted and sorted and im pleased with that too and ill be removing the rear chrome boot strip when i get chance too, so if anyone wants it cheap, let me know

so quite a few bits gone on really haha, ill post up some photos of how its looking tomorrow evening, feeling quite sorry for itself though at the minute ill say haha but will look stunning once it all comes together

What kind of bulbs are at the back reggy mate and where did u get them???

tim, im not fitting the wheels straight away, but will get pics up, and i opted for renaultsport megane 225 anthracite, as per their wheels, its stunning in the flesh

and kenny pics will come probably tomorrow some time mate, they are festoon bulbs, code is 272, and i got them from here

went on the led bulb link but they dont do white????

A bought a couple of LED (white ones) today off flee bay. They are 39mm long, but they should fit. I'll let ya know what there like white.
