the driver side window has developed squeek when its moving upwards, ive tried cleaning the window and putting some wd 40 down the sides but with no avail.
theres no squeek on its way down just up?
any ideas how to fix this guys?

also the passenger side windows switch is broken on the driver side, it will only let me bring it down but not back up.
it works fine from the passenger switch however without warning it will now only let me send it down but will no reach the bottom and the window still has around a 1/8th of the way to go?

im going to be buying a new switch soon for the drivers side but any ideas on what to do about the window not going down fully?

thanks alot in advance, joe

i had this problem, take the doorcard off. And you should see 2 window runners there black. If you give them both a spray of wd40 it should stop the squeeks. although grease will last longer. And the clip has probably come off the runner. Just clip it back on. I cabletied mine so it wont unclip again hopefully.

How did you cable tie the clip on? I had this come off the clip problem with mine - just fixed it today and tried to put a cable ties to hold it one but it either got in the way or fell off so would be interested to know how you attached it...

It was very fiddly! Attach the clip to the runner then you should here it click into place. Then use a small mirror to locate the hole thats on the clip. Poke a small cabletie through. Tug it hard. Cut off the excess. Done.
