Accelerator pedal

I have noticed recently there is a considerably noticeable delay between pressing the accelerator pedal and the engine revving.. I'm not talking a whole second, but to the point that I have to rev before I even consider touching the clutch or it judders or stalls..

It's becomming increasingly annoying and I was just wondering if this is normal with polo's? as far as I am aware its all electronic so no loose or stuck throttle cables?

Its cable on anything but the GTI. My 1.0E had a noticeable delay between the engine doing anything.

Bring it over and ill take a look :)

I will vag-com it tomorrow just to see if anything comes up.. but I don't have any warning lights or anything and I can still rev right upto the red.. it just seems quite delayed :(

nothing will come up on the scan, you need to go into all the extras, you can see what percentage quite a few things are, things like lamba sensor fueling etc and you will see acceleration and that, but you cannot get it from just scanning the car

The one headlight still isn't leveled from last time! Remember my one adjustor had popped off so we couldn't alter it. That's fixed now (the adjustor), so it's just awaiting me bumping into a vagcomer so I can sort it out again, ie you sir 8)
