Yeh ive decided to go for eibach sportline -50mm springs with my 16' alloys. Ive just come to order and want to conformation that a mk5 is years 99-01 cause theres 2 options (99-01) or (01-) I just wanna confirm cause dont wanna get it wrong and have to send them off and replace them.

they rock not to hard and not to soft :D you can feel the road on um but its not uncomfortble

thats strange i bought venoms springs and dampers and they told me they were the g max springs and dampers but without the stickers from the factory!? they are very good though lowers it nicely about 40mm. good ride quality. i was going to go lower but on 195-45-15 its quite low and ive got lots speed bumps around! and my exaust is quite low to the ground, never scraped though even 5 up in car! :D

right well i've got spax coil-overs
after fitting them i read on the box that they are most commonly used for btcc touring cars setup, so at the mo the ride is bouncy as fuk, just gotta fine tune the dampers.
i think the tracking may be out now aswell, cos it tends to steer into bends better, or is that normal?
