On the central locking pump in the car the code that is written on the pump, does it need to be the same if im replacing it at the scrappies.

And if i cant get one at the scrappies does anyone know how much it wopuld be to get from the main dealer.

Also im looking for an engine cover for mine the one that says 1.4 on it, does anyone know how much that would be either.

No worries with the pump, any will do from VW. As long as same shape etc!

And if you can't get one from the scrappy, then try ebay. Always a few on there, same with the engine cover.

The central locking pump has to have the same part number, but the number at the end be it D, F, H etc can be different - this is the revision number for the part.
