my car came with the i-pod holder, so would this work with the sat nav unit?
and if so would it also work with the 6 disc cd changer?

I *think* the MFD will work with the VW ipod kit only, as for CD changer, unless you use something like ICE link theres no hope of having them both!

as i have seen people saying that some of the dont play them unless you have the cd changer!

I think it needs a changer as the top drive is for the NAV DVD

no does not play cd its for the nav disc you will need a changer

right ok hmm.instead of having a cd changer plugged in would the i-pod connect in to the unit?
