Hi!

Have found a set of Golf GTI Mk4-wheels (5-stud) that I want to buy for my car.

My old wheels were a set of Mille Miglia 15*7" with ET28 and 195/45-15" and with that combination my wheels did scratch the body when I had 2 friends in the backseat. To much ET more or less. Didn´t have spacers on them either.

The Golf Mk4-wheels are 5*100 and ET 42.

Where can I find PCD Adaptor? Searched on Venom but they didn´t have to Polo.

What could I do to get a larger offset (without my erlier problems)?

Information please. 8)

Check the website or FK Automotive, or H&R, or SCC Fahrzeugtechnik. All make PCD adapters in various PCD's and widths. Smallest are about 12 to 15mm thick, so that will get your offset from ET 42 to ET 27 (15mm adapters) or ET 30 (12mm adapters)

So depending on the width of the Golf wheels they will either be almost exactly alike when it comes to scrubbing, or come out even wider, when the wheels are wider then 7 J

But how do the people with lower ET (28 and down) do with their cars?

^^ My rims are 7J and ET28 running on 195/45/15 also. Mine don't scrub unless I have people in the back and go over bumps OR if I hit a bump too hard.

My car sits 70mm lower. Car height also plays a factor in the equation.

Roll the inner-lip of the arches (like I did, pics of it in my topic) or fit "less wide" tyres, like Nankang 185-45-15, these are less wide AND less high, so more clearance for the tyres in the arches 8)
