Which method is better? I can get it done for roughly the same price

personally, i would choose paint and clear coat,

however, its said as powder coating is more durable ... until its chipped, then it will just start to peel off and flake, unlike paint in the same instance

its up to you really, i just found powder coated a bit brittle and more delicate myself, think of the grab rails on busses and loo's, they are forever chipped and flaked away

thanks jeff, can you continue using cleaning products like turtle wax on your painted wheels?

yeah course mate, you can for either of the finishes you had mentioned, paint or powder
