hello i was just wondering if anyone could give me a step by step guide of how to remove the center console from a polo 6n

one bolt at the top where the groove is and 2 little bolts when u lift the gear gaitor up and its out

you mean the center consol surround thngy? the black bt that goes round the buttons like.

well if u mean that then....

you have to take the cover for the heater diles off which kinda just pops off. Then there's four screws. You need to also remove any buttons attached to the consol like the heated front screen button, hazards and so on also the electric window buttons.

In your little cubby hole type thing below the ash tray theres a couple of screws you have to get too. To do this i thnk you have to remove the gear stick gaiter and surrounding plastics. I cant think how to move these off the top of my head i think you take the gaiter off the gearstick (aka the leather bit n case your new to this). Thats just pulls up, its held on with elastic. Then theres a few screws under that.

Now forgve me this bit may be inacurate as im bloody knackered from a days work! But i think you have to pop part of the plastic off to get at a couple more plastic bolty thngs. Youll understand what i mean when you see it hopefully.
