Got the gti booked into VW again tommorow. Now the gearbox is crunching its way through second nigh on everytime you change up past 2000 revs i cant see how they cant find a problem. Im also hoping they can find out what this weird sort of creaking noise is that comes from the rear end. Its like a strange groaning whenever im on full lock to the right and in reverse...
Send good karma my way please people ive got my fingers and toes crossed on this one!

friend of mine tells me today that apparently my back wheel is sort of whobbling aswell

worrying thought. she likened it too seeing a wheel trim half coming off, you kow when they do that wavey dance thing while they turn. Thats certanly not f*****g good cause an alloy should defo not be doing that lol.
Cheers for the support people. shes booked in for 8am tommorow so hopefully it wll all get done!

Rear wheel sounds like the bearing is excessively worn - very wierd indeed.

The plate that the wheel bolts onto came loose with me before! Only held on with an allen screw IIRC!
