Hi,

My front bumper is a bit worse for wear, few rust spots etc.. looking at getting a new bumper and spraying it.. what tools are required.. are they stardrive bolts...? If so, what size, and where can i get the tool to remove them?

Thanks.

Can't actually remember 100% but i'm pretty sure that the lower bumper section at least, is held on with torx (star) head bolts. Halfrauds do a reasonable set of most common sizes for about a tenner. I got a set and so far they've seemed fairly sturdy

yep, torx screw and a phiips head screwdriver if you want to take off the lower bumper as well (connected to the arch lining)

I've had an unsprayed factory 16v bumper sitting on my bedroom floor for like 2 months now... Really need to get around to spraying and fitting it so I don't keep beating my feet on the surprisingly sharp corners in the night.
