Personally, I think this one is the best of the bunch. Maybe, if you could do a handful of slightly different ones (using different images), they could be set to rotate each time the page is refreshed? If thats possible on this new version of the board? :)

Yeah thats a great idea
I have seen this used before and works well. A database of about 10 images that change each page refresh :P

While that does look great, is that really something you want as a clubs logo. One picture works well, but if it changes all the time then the forum doesnt actually have one specific logo, so what goes on other merchandise and stuff?

I just think the 10 images thing could a bit overkill for a logo. :P

^I think your right
The old logo used a certain font that could be printed in monotone for stickers.

I've given it a go, and gone for a more simplistic approach. :D The colours should match, even if we change the colour scheme of the site.

I've done two versions, one with a white background and one transparent :P

I think that's a real nice design Chris, but I also agree with Gra. The logo needs to be something that also looks good B&W so it can be made into stickers etc...

I think with chrisjames' concept, and a better font, we'll have a winner 8)

Does anyone know what font vw use?

If you could use that in the new banner/sticker think it would work well

Here's a couple of text styles I think look pretty good. And could be printed onto things easily. Then you could put them into a banner simular to brad m's with smaller text under it and a VW badge/logo or polo. Also liking the text style on brads, the smaller text, Suits the polo.

All of them have been blown up, hence the sharp edges.

Or stick with the good old one?

ive done another one in just black and white to see what it would be like for a window sticker, also changed the main font to the same as the other one.
