In light of the migration to a new server and the latest forum software, I thought it might be time to change the logo too.

So...

All you creative types: This one is yours!

Make it something recognisable, striking, modern, maybe a nod to the Germanic history of the brand... I don't know.

Logos should fit nicely on the blue bar at the top of the site, and be a transparent GIF image... Hopefully the design will not only look good with this forum colourway, but also if we change it to something blue/grey as it used to be on the old software.

If I'm honest, I would have just re-used the old logo, but I have lost both the font and the original PSD that I created, so I'm stuffed

Post your entries in this thread... Let's see what you can do!

You'll get nothing more than the recognition that you created the logo (I'm afraid)... If selected, the rights to the artwork will be passed to the forum... etc etc legal speak etc etc. If you're happy with this, then let's go!

Did you want people to use the nearest font they can though as merchandise/stickers etc will become instantly 'out of date' if a new font is brought in?

Just a quick one, it's a bit in the face but one to get the ball rolling

Thats cool Tim, try it with the 'UK' part as a union jack, and then the 'polos' part in the german colours.

Could look pimp? Could look terrible? haha

Aye yeh I'll have a further fiddle. The colours are a little bright really, need to darker. And maybe the stroke thinner. I delteed though so will have to start again lol.

It might be nice to see variations on the colours. (Different coloured cars)
