As it stands the car is insured as a Silver 60hp S model.
BUT, every insurance website i'm putting the plate into is saying that its a Silver 75HP SE model.
How do i go about looking which is correct, is there such a thing as an engine code searcher, where i can enter the engine code and see if its correct.
Got the V5 here in front of me, and it doesn't say ho wmuch power its got etc?
Totally confused, need to get it sorted ASAP as the insurance is due in 10 days.

There were three different 1.4 Polos.
1.4 8V 60BHP
1.4 16V 75BHP
and 1.4 16V 100 BHP.
Some insurance engines dont look up correctly - its happened to me in the past.

Single overhead cam?
MPI stands for Multi-Point Injection.
Your car is an 8v

Well said. It means it shoots the fuel in at multiple places
Whereas my Mk3 is a SPI which is single point injection.
