Polo running problems

Over xmas the rear gearbox mount bolt snapped on my 86 Polo, this dopped the engine down a couple of inches, which then knocked the air cleaner against the bulkhead, the air cleaner being firmly attached to the carb. This all meant that the gasket between the inlet manifold and the carb was apparently damaged (im told all this by the mechaninc that repaired it all).

I dont have a part number and the only thing that I can fine is £17.50 on eurocarparts.com, listed as the carburetor gasket, surely I must have the wrong thing as it seems very expensive?

How easy will this be to fit in your experience, the haynes manual says it 2 spanners so im expecting some mild swearing and at least one bruised and cut knuckle, am I right or will it be worse?

Thanks again, you lot are great :)

the carb is mounted from underneath the manifold on a rubber flexible mounting which can be prone to splitting
from memory the nuts are 10mm spanner size 8)
