will it really make a difference if i put an induction kit on my 1.4 8v its a mk5 but its the same engine setup as the mk4, my powerlow exaustpipe makes quite alot of noise and i wondered if getting a filter would make any difference up front? if so which one to go for? also do you guys tell your insurance? the dont know about my exaust or suspention but hey?

well i cant really afford an exhaust yet, so the induction kit does for now, cos its flipping loud like! does make the car sound sporty though, cos when u lay off the throttle then put your foot right down again it lets of a dump valve sorta noise hehe 8)
no gain in performance though, well not for a 1.0 anyway

ok im not sure wat one is, but the one i've left off is a warm air hose (basically when not connected to the original air-box, wont supply as much hot air as normal, not good for cold days!) the other pushed onto the side of the induction cone, hope this helps
i'll have a proper look 2morrow n take sum close up pics for u
