Well i got some new tweeters a bit ago and they are alot bigger than the standard speakers and will not fit without some modification to the tweeter case! Or have you mounted them elswhere?

Any ideas on a modification to the case or anything that people have done to theres??

It is on a MK5 polo by the way.

I'd either trim the existing mounts til they fit, as you've got a fair bit to paly with that can hide behind the mesh.

Or look at getting them mounted in the pillars:

i think my best bet would be to fit behind the original tweeter casing. I will have to have a good look at what can be done.

Most speakers will fit behind the tweeter casing. You just need to get rid of the excess plastic so they mount correctly.

but you could always fibreglass the pillars and have them come out at the bottom always looks cool

just read that fibre glass thing tim. looks like a really good idea and also doesnt look to hard to do. might have to have a think about this now. hmmmm

Yeh I think I'll have a crack at something similar in time for Summer.
