Polo Show Car

So ive thought and thought about this and im finally getting out of the habit (i hope) and selling my polo.
Since i bought it in january last year ive literally just put all my cash into it and its cost me a fortune so ive decided to sell up and get rid of my loan

so heres the run down of the car

Volkwagen Polo 1996 1.6glx


***ENGINE***

the engine is a standard 1.6 with absolutely nothing done to it.
ful through stainless steel exhaust done just after i bought it with twin silencers to hide the noise and hidden tailpipe.

***EXTERIOR***

Open air model(brand new roof in october)
Respray Black in April while at the bodyshop
Aerial removed
Side Repeaters removed
washer jets removed
peugot 406 washer rails on the windscreen wipers
Audi A3 headlight conversion
Side Mouldings remover
Delocked Handles
Smoothed front bumper with on centre vent and Fog lights left
Badboy bonnet with mesh gril instead of standard/debadged gril
smoothed boot lid with mk4 golf badge places in centre
mk5 polo all read rear lights
smoothed rear bumper with number plate recess at the very bottom
Arches Pulled and flared (2.5" at the rear and 1.5" upfront)

***INTERIOR***

MK4 golf Gti recaro black leather seats that were fitted in october
Brand new black headlining
Momo Team 280
Pioneer ipod headunit
gorgeous clean interior thats less than 3 months old


***CHASSIS***
Steffan BCW's 14x10 on the rear and 14x9 on the front with some ridiculous stretch and new tyres
KW variant Coilover(ithink)
10mm spacers on the front to make them poke slightly more


***BASICS***

the car has 83k on the clock and runs perfect
2 months tax
5 months MOT


***PRICE***

5k in the current financial state coupled with the worst month of the year is going to be hard work to sell mate but very good luck with it

I saw your post in January re selling your car and I noticed you mentioned it having had a brand new roof.

I have a 1996 open air polo 1.6 cl and I am having problems with the roof (one side is going back but the other is sticking). I was hoping you could point me in the right direction re a specialist to look at roof and have it replaced if necessary. I have tried a couple of local garages and they have not been much use. and I am having real problems in trying to find the necessary expertise. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
