need some more people to go on the rollers with the FMIC on really to see what gains there are!

gains from the front mount for me were not about numbers wise, it was defo about drivabliity, imagine a frosty morning in winter, a standard gti would go better as the air to the tiny intercooler and so the inlet was cold, allowing for extra power to be made
now imagine every day you drive it having this, even in summer, no large intake temps, allowing permenantly cold intake and inlet temps, to allow more go go
my intake temps dropped when forge tested it over 40 oC compared to my standard intake temps running stage 2
and due to it being so big compared to the stock intercooler, you get even bigger benifits on intake temp reduction, and with no extra turbo lag at all, the thing what shocked me the most was you can now drive it like you have stole it, as hard as you like, then stop, open the bonnet and touch the inlet manifold with your hands and its like a fridge, its cold, not even remotely warm, so it shows it works
see here for the size dirrerence, and bear in mind the forge one goes behind the crash bar too, its not just what you see initially
kc if your un decided mate, ill take you for a blast in mine front mounted up and stage 2'd, youll love it im sure

i agree with jeff it makes a massive difference on the way home it was so much more powerfull on the mway a mk5 golf gti couldnt pull away when i was in 5th, and i got 10mpg more average!! so it will pay for its self!! and it looks cool!! second is the best gear now pulls like a train!

Not got headlamp washers, spoke to Chris at Forge and he says he can do one on 2 - 3 hours, so he reckons a day maybe to do it. My mate has a massive shed at his farm with all the tools and a pit aswell so reckon we should be able to do it.
