Bought myself a mini steam cleaner at the ideal home exhibition last Friday and this little beauty works wonders on alloy wheels and on the calipers, brings them up a treat.

Cost £29.99 = :D

Sounds good! Is there any info on the net about it? Cheers Cora :)

little warning on steem cleaners:
the big ones will puish out over 5000psi at the nosske at over 100oC so they can quite easilly strip paint and melt rubber components like windscreen rubbers

It's not that powerful.

I wouldn't use the thing on the window rubbers I bought it purely for the wheels and general household use, the sad DIY geek that I am.

I'll see if the company have a website.

If you do buy a steam cleaner test an area first and gently warm the area first otherwise you could get into trouble.
