Ordered my forge tip and vibra-technics engine mount today, cant wait to fit them should pull harder forge said my engine mount was screwed when i had the cooler fit! Then if i can make it stage 2 on saturday by more-bhp ready for rolling road in feb at awsome!!! interested to see what it pulls on the rollers compared to apr e.g jeffs!

Sounds good mate, saw the engine monts the day on Awesome site. Are they a pain to fit??

i getting the full dog bone mount not the insert bush just come out by these guys http://www.vibra-technics.co.uk/ so its what £113 say but its a complete new arm with bushes so easy to fit !or £85 for the insert from apr but then £30 to get fitted and pressed in! so obviously i went for the full arm plus you can remove it and fit back the standard one if you sell up one day!

go on then ill do it for you ! you can let me in on some info bout the tip as heard its mega crap to do??!! but ill do the mount friday hopefully finish early!

If i were you put one or even two jubilee clips on the metal insert on the TIP (connection next to turbo end) as its just glued in place, as soon as i tried to fit the rubber hose back on i just pushed the metal insert into the TIP!! I was nearly in tears at that point as i just spent ages squeezing the TIP onto the turbo!! A little washing up liquid also helped slide on to the turbo intake. The rest is easy!

TIP is easy.... unbolt the rigid water pipes from the block... just need a large allen key from your AA van... and attach to turbo from underneath.. so much easier..

and Kenny is spot on... jubilee the metal insert ... or it comes straight out.....

Stage 2 software sat here on my laptop ready to go.....

rolling road sounds good, day depending, i woulkd be up for that too

will be interesting too to compare on the road, not just in numbers

im going to a rolling road day at awsome end of feb organised by another web site come along £35 for 3 runs and laminated print out!!!
