Where is a good place to get these from? I absoultly love them. I have also been told, if true, that you now have to have the GB on the plates and cant have anything else, is that true?

Best place to get these is eBay.from this guy:

Facts on pressed plates:
The ones posted above are illegal in all ways. no bands (GB or not) help this, the font of them is illegal. I've run these for over a year now, without any problems (touch wood). It's up to you whether you want to run these, as I said I have with no issues, and I much prefer these to the UK font ones.
The only pressed plates that are legal are ones with UK fonts. And even then you've got to be careful with postcode placement etc.. Dubmeister (
www.dubmeister.co.uk) offer various serices for legal pressed plates, so if you want to go down that route it's best to go through them.

What would be the worst that could happen? Would you get a fine?

£30 fine at max. I've been stopped by police now though and they haven't even noticed. i think they're quite 'lax about it all around here, I mean I haven't had a plate on the front for two weeks and haven't been spoken to about it (again touch wood!). Some will pick up on it though.

They're still not legal though. They don't have the postcode of where they were published underneath.

I've ran pressed plates for nearlly a year, i've been infront, behind and at the side of the law and not once been pulled. Mansfield is quite a huge boy racer scene, meh, so therefore there are alow of cops around. Though the dubs are growing in numbers!
