alloy repair???

best way to make alloys look new? just got a used set with a fair few scratches....can u spray paint them?

Give 'em a light sanding down & spray colour of choice, then a couple of coats of laquer.

thats wat i do. if theres n e deep scratched or gauges i used a metal filler. cant remember the name but can get it from halfords. i think its called metalik in a black tin i believe. then, as he said, bit of primer. if needed, light sanding then spray with desired colour then some lacquer.... i done it to all of mine..... need to redo them again as i keep kerbing them.... oh well....
