In that case, get this sub deal:
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /8047.html

And these speakers:

And this to power the speakers:
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /2910.html

The Speakers are quality, that sub deal is more than adequate, and the amp holds up great too. Trust me, it will all not disapoint! Plenty of change from £400 too.

If you want to step it up a bit, go for these speakers instead:

Yes, you can't run sub without an amp. So that package sorts it out, plus it gives you all the wiring you need.

And those speakers will run ALOT better with external power running to them. You'll need wiring to set that up also, but eBay will sort it all out for you for less than £25 all in.

HHmm? no a dedicated amplifier, like the one I posted above. A car stereo has a built in amplifier, usually 4 channel with an output ranging from 35-50w. So they are always quite small. The 2 channel amp i posted above is an idependant amplifier on a much larger scale than the built in one, so the speakers would run through this for power before reaching the headunit to output sound.
