loud clicking noise

my car has recently developed a new sound. I can hear a clicking noise coming from the front right wheel area only when i accelerate. It sounds like something is being rounded off when under to much pressure from the accelerating. has any one had this problem before, or no what it could be aswell as how much roughly it would cost to repair?

Does it get faster when you accelerate? check the brake discs for stones. Also remove the wheel and give it a once over, check nothing looks out of place. Then put the wheel back on correctly. That'll rule out the wheel bolts, brake discs and obvious problems by eye.

If it still hasn't gone, listen to see if the ride affects it (could be mount related) and get a garage to check the wheel bearing.

Other than that, maybe worn CV joint or worse, bent drivshaft?

thanks for the reply. It only makes the sound under "heavy" acceleration and yeah the sound varies depending on what speed im doing/ accelerating. CV joint and bent drivshaft is what I fink aswell, more towards bent drive shaft. Would replacing both of these be expensive? Any rough estimates? thanks for your time
