Hi, i have the well known problem with the pedal boxin my Polo 1.4 -96. Could anyone tell me how much work it is to dismount the whole pedal-setup (?) so that i could weld and "secure" it so it wouldnt break again? As i could see last time i tried to weld it, it seems that i have to remove the steering column and so. I got all the common tools, no specific for VW and i'm pretty good to use them to.

How much time do i need to get it out? And could i find any "guide" or so how to dismount it?

(sorry for any misspelling or so, guy from sweden. (with the steering wheel on the other side :) ))
