Hi folks,
only just found out about uk-polos yesterday on my local vw fourm and was delighted to find more than 2 9n3 gti owners! So here i am, the proud owner of a 2007 candy white 9n3 gti! i bought the car late june last year and since then havnt stopped buying parts and dreaming of what to do next! i'll post up some pics of how the car used to look and what it is currently looking like, all comments welcome!

Engine:
Custom Code stage 1 re-map
Forge 007p dv
PD160 intake
jetex cone filter

Chassis:
FK silverline coilovers
forge front strut brace

Wheels/tyres:
Currently 17x8 RH AH turbos, used to have LM reps
Toyo T1R's all round 205/40/17

Bodywork:
Standard appart form an s2000 aerial and black front badge.

I've got heaps of things i want to do to the car, mostly wee niggaly things, but next on the list will be a turbo back milltek and a forge fmic.

I've also been trying to find a way of getting the back of the car lower, ive already taken the adjuster rings out of the back, but im still not happy with the height! Anyone got any ideas????

I know, i couldnt look at the thread, was such a lovely car!

The LM's did look top but sadly they got damaged while sitting in my garage, and me being a perfectionist this wouldnt do! haha

They were just an ebay job, think the company was bmautosport...im not too sure though, have a look there is usually sets for sale, mine were 17x8!

Yeh ive got the RH's on just now, im really hapy with them, to be honest the pics dont do them much justice, dunno how long i'll last till i get board of these tho! ha ha

Looks awesome, love the RH's. Must scrub like a b***h being 17x8's! Also why am I the only candy white GTI owner that has got their front bumper chipped to buggery?!

Nah not at all really, well thats if u drive normally and avoid potholes!!!! The front catches on the bracket holding the inner arch to the wing, but nothing major at all! The back doesnt scuff at all, guna have a play with spacers soon...fancy a bit more poke!

can you get a pic up of how you got the jetex cone filter mounted i have a cone filter just dont want it to hang and dangle on the maf and tip

Well havnt posted anything about the car up in ages so thought id post some pictures of how it is just now, minus the RH's, before i change it again!









Since the last post ive added a turbo back milltek, and coming next week are these:



got them off flee bay for £200 porsche D90's in 7's and 8's. They were sent away to pristine this morning for a full refurb, im getting them finished in candy white with a diamond turned lip! The only things i still need to source are H&R adapters and metal coloured crests for my centre caps, if anyone has any ideas of where i can pick up the crests please let me know. Will post pictures up as soon as i get the wheels on!
