Induction Kit 6n

I am looking for an induction kit for my 6n. Have seen i.e. on eBay that it says for example "This air induction kit is designed to fit VW Golf MK4 1.4L 1998-2004" Does that mean it definatly wont fit my car, or there is a possibility.?
