pics up finally

heres my 1.6 polo done 97k miles
got it for 700 nearly a month ago
only just had time to put pictures up of it

(hopefully the links work sorry f they dont, dont know other waysto put pics up)

am a bit skint atm so firstthings gonna do are:

buy clear indicators
buff out the dent in rear bumper
get some new wipers
spray the vw badges black
getting rid of the aerial as have ipod and that

any ideas would be very appreiciated

end of next month im buying coilovers as get my tax back 8)

Perfect base, colour will look great when given a proper clean up. It needs a good beating with the lowering stick though, and the 16v alloys look pretty swish :)

im thinking of keeping the original alloys but get them repaired then sprayed matt black and maybe get a white vw sticker t put in the centre.....will be cheaper than buying brand new ones but still not cheap
ideas ?

Same colour as mine :D Looks like she's in very good condition, could do with a new set of number plates though..

i wrk at halfords so av got some1 duin thm for me =]
ive taken the badge and the number plate off and gonna get tht filled tuesday i hope!!
any idea how long the glass fibre will take to dry ?

and what is the actual name of the car colour? i cant find out =[

Pretty sure it's called Windsor Blue. If you look under the carpet in the boot there should be a sticker with the colour code on it which you can then use to find the name of the colour :)

Looks to be the same colour as mine, windsor blue metallic, paint code LN5Y. Great colour, & looks fantastic when polished up! 8)

today has been eventful, move my number plater to the bottom part of the bumper and hav jus done another coat of glass fibre over the holes where the badge and number plate was :) looks a mess, taken photos will be up tomoro!!

also....dunno wat the colour still is woman at motor spares said maritime blue or marine blue NOT SURE :S

Have you looked under the boot carpet yet, as Dan said? You will be looking for a paper sticker, about 6cm (ish!) in size and on it will be a few details including a 4 digit code, which can be decipered to the colour of your car. ie LN5Y is windsor blue (which looks to be your colour). Also if you have the original service book, the same coded sticker will be inside the back cover.

found out my car colour it is lc5h....atlantic blue which is strange as i dont know any other vw to have this colour lol
o well least i know wt im looking for! thanks :)

gonna try and get pics up of the boot when its all smoothed out and primed :)

That's suprising, I felt sure it was the same as mine! Oh well, well done on finding out :) Get some more pics up soon matey :D
