New Boot Build

Right, The Subs i have at the minute are in a pretty bad state. So ive decided that when Uni ends for the summer (about 12th May) :D that i will have until late Sept to do pretty much anything.

For ages ive been busting to do a nice tidy clean build in the boot where i can still have a reasonable boot and be able to keep the spare tyre. Was thinking of a side mounted sub like the one that Haris has went for on here or do something different.

I want to start from a clean slate and just take the time and work on a good build. Ive sort of a head start because my dads in the process of building a boat so i have all the right tools and a shed load of various grades of Fibre Glass. Also the resin to go with it. There is a silly amount of Marine Plywood in different thicknesses laying around here too.

I really want to have a perfect setup that suits me, so at the minute i want to plan everything to make sure that its right.

Has anyone any tips and do's and don'ts and also any pictures of previous builds that they have done or seen. As i want to start with a clean slate id love all the advice that you can give me.

I will be looking for all new components to replace my old ones so any components or sub packages that you think would suit or think i should stay clear of will be greatly appreciated!

I will be taking plenty of pictures and updates along the way and make a Progress Thread.

Thanks!

Any recommendations on a Diamond M5 10" Sub? Been offered one at about £90 boxed.
