hello all...

a question from a Polo Mk4 Newbie...

I have a 97 1.4 CL..... well when it finally arrives

I'm back in the land where I've got a VW in the house, now I know about where to take my car to get sorted & serviced after 5 years with a Mk2 VW Golf.. in the Midlands, Bears in Birmingham = Image but NOT c&r 'adding unwanted extras can't sort it first time' enterprises Image

but here I am now living in West / SW London way, so apart from the local stealers does anyone have an recommended VW specialists that they could recommend for my VW Polo ? Image

also does anyone know if a a Mark 5 gear knob will fit a Mk 4 ?

cheers

i'm looking for a place for the routine maintenance, oil, plugs, brakes, etc somewhere where I know they will do a good job without ripping me off .. (now if I wanted that I would go to the local stealer  )

I prob' won't do any 'mod's yet... expect change the brake to ventilated from non-vents but that ain't due for a while...

aftre all I take my TT up to AmD in Bicester and Wayside in Milton Keynes and I'm based in SW London ! dont trust anyone else with my TT :D and that's not quite local !

You could try Wheelbase in Hersham Surrey. Independant VW specialist. I think they do some engine upgrades/ tuning too.

Never used them but friends have.
