Mine, with engine cover removed, and BMC air filter plus custom air feed fitted:

That's some decent work on the colour coding done there Tim! Looks very, very nice indeed 8)

(and now go get yourself a decent exhaust manifold! :lol: stock one's performance sucks :lol: )

How and what royou guys use to get your bays looking mint? Also my red rocker cover is looking dull and flakey. Any hints or tips would be wicked. Cheers guys

Yh tim wat stuff do you use cuz ur black piping seems to be extra shiney and clean!

For the rocker cover get some nitromos on it and scrub it clean of the old red. Then get some high temperature paint (halfords stock it) and apply a few coats. If your removing the cover to paint, you may want to look at replacing the gasket whilst your at it. If not, just be careful masking up.

In terms of engine bay cleaning I use Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner for general cleaning:

Autoglym machine cleaner for extra greasy spots (after using this a few times, I'm sure there's better out there.)

To dress the plastics I use Chemical Guys trim gel:

And for the pipes and other rubber bits I use Autoglym vinyl and rubber care:

Amoungst this stuff I also use regular car shampoo for certain painted areas, and various microfibre cloths and brushes.
