adding a light to the glove box?

Im in the process of modifying a passat one into it
its a work in progress...ill let you know how it turns out!

wicked mate, looking forward to it!
I'm tired of rummaging through the glove box in the dark
i'll be giving it a go thursday, so ill keep you updated on the progress i make too!

The most complicated part is the switch wiring so it turns on and off automatically

ahh yeah that was my concern too.
in golfs, jettas etcs that have it built in, do you know how do they do it?

Its a switch thats put into the mechanism. Im gonna try and get a spare glove box to chop up lol
