"Squeaky" Clutch Pedal

Pedal Box! Same fault as Caddy's etc. Clutch goes stiff, doesn't get changed in time, puts strain on Cable and twists/breaks/cracks pedal box mounting bracket that's bolted to the bulkhead.
Hi, my clutch pedal is squeaking... and I don't want the above to happen!

Any idea how to fix it? Is it a job for the WD40? If so, what do I need to grease/remove/destroy/whatever! :D

Thanks.

If it's a creak in the weld then you'd need to reinforce the hinge point on the pedal box with a weld. I'm sure a simple squeak would be rectified with some lubricant though.
