Polo 2005 CD Player compatibility?

Post by Infamy »

Hey

I just got my polo the other day, its an 05 (not the updated model with the new headlights) and its only got the cassette player

I wanted to know if it would be possible to install one of these http://i21.ebayimg.com/07/i/001/28/ed/09b9_1.JPG and how easy it is to do so - currently cant find any guides

if not, ill probably go with the original http://i12.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/3c/63/03dc_1.JPG but once again, don't really know how, still cant find a decent guide

any help would be great!

cheers

would nt bother with the new style one looks tacky and too clumsy fitting the single cd player is starait forward and is pretty much remove the tray under your radio remover the radio clip in new wire for the cd replce radio to original hole put in separating plate comes with cd player aand push in cd player to the hole vacated by the cubby hole tray and switch on put cd in to cd player and press cd on the radio cassette job done .

Go to halfords and ask for the radio keys to your car, they will be about £1.99

slot them in the holes either side of the 1-6 radio buttons and pull out (mine was a bit akward)

to remove the tray it will simply pull/pop out with the ability to get your hand in.

I'm not sure if the double din has the same connections as the one you have at the moment i was going to swap yours for my double din one in my mothers car but she has her mp3 in a cassete adaptor thing so i never checked.
