UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

I have recently just brought a JVC KD-BT11 Car stereo, i fitted it myself, perhaps mistake number one, but it doesnt seem to keep the memory of any settings i enter, it just keeps resetting itself, i have read on a couple of forums that i need a live feed or something going to it but how would i go about doing that? Please bear in mind that if you respond to this i am a complete n00b and will need it explained int complete laymans terms if at all possible. Thanks in advance

Can you give more info on how you've connected the wires at the moment. Normally to solve this, the red and yellow wires are swapped over. The red wire must have a constant 12v even after the key is removed to maintain the radio memory.
