Hi guys,

Currently in the process of looking out for a new set of alloys. I have spotted a nice set of 15" BBS that a guy is selling on club polo. The alloys have an offset of 45, (if i am correct as it says in the ad ET45), what I would like to know is if i would have any problems fitting these due to the offset?

Here is the ad on club polo http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.p ... try1343499

thanks,

Chris.

See the thing is that the guy who is selling them had them on his 6n polo, said they fitted ok so I'm a bit wary.

They'll fit fine mate.

Although if your stance is lower than original I'd look at getting 195/45 tyres for them.

Thanks for the replies,

I have a set of Yokohama's that were on a set of RXII's for a week, they are 195/45 so i'll fit them at some point.
How low a drop from standard do you think would be sensible?

Thanks,

Chris

I think 70-90mm. Looks great and doesn't cause too many issues with speed bumps. I'm down around 80mm at the moment with my pepperpots, and they're fine with local roads. Sure I have to take it steady over bumps, but I don't get sump scrapes.
