Exhaust System

Now i dont really knoiw anything about exhaust systems,
but im looking for one to fit to a 1.2 polo 9n 05 plate.
can a backbox give a nice sporty sound?,
and if anyone has any ideas,
please enlighten me

hey i just recently got a backbox got a powerflow one cost me £200 gives a good sound not too loud etc when i was researching theres many out there that are made to give different sounds. i opted for a deep sounding one not sure what you mean 'sporty' but gives a good tone.
good thing to do it possibly jus look at the different makes out there youtube it see what they sound like, reviews of them...

well ive got mine fitted,
got a longlife custom backbox fit, gotta admit
suprised by the quality, real deep purrr...
sounds gorgeous

Where did you get it done in the end, and how much did it set you back?
EDIT: You got any pics of how it looks? Sorry but a new backbox is probably gonna be my next purchase, and I wanna know the sorta thing I'll be buying.

Cos me £180 for Backbox, fitted with a custom Oval Tailpipe,
gives off a very low purr.... but really kicks ass when foot slammed to the floor!!
Got it done by a company called longlife, closest garage too me was in Carshalton, Sutton.
Took 1 Hour 30 mins to fit. i havcent remmoved the tail sticker yet, which is the white thing on the tailpipe,
ill do it when i got time
