Xcarlink mounting 9n3

Right, I've had a few problems over the past few days. First I managed to drop a car park entry card behind the little card holder thing, so spent about 3 hours trying to figure how to get that out. Was stupidly easy in the end.
I bought an Xcarlink off ebay for £35 which is a bargain really. Took out my stereo (also figured out how to remove a double DIN with just two keys) and managed to reset it, so I spent most of yesterday waiting for the dealer to call me back with my code.
Been looking around the forum and can't seem to find a good place for having the wire come out from - the actual box will just sit behind or below the radio without too many problems...I think. The best place i can think of for the wire (without drilling) is opening up the space behind the card holder card holder and just tring to fix the cable in there somehow. Won't be the most attractive thing in the world, but it can all be hidden away when I'm not using my phone for music.
Are there any other places I'm missing the wire could come out from without having to drill into the car??
